Nurture

Nurturing from inside is just as important as nurturing from the outside.  At Leavesden we have a special chef who has been helping create some wonderful meals for the children.  All the meals are made from scratch, and we use mostly organic and healthy ingredient options.  The food is served fresh, and made on the day.  Many times, you will pass the kitchen and there will be some wonderful aromas of fresh bread or the aroma of biscuits baking ready for tea at three. 

All our children enjoy these meals, the choices range from the simplicity of the menus, to the inclusion of healthy salads and fresh fruits.

Children who have special dietary requirements are also catered for.

Leavesden Montessori achieved a Quality Mark in Early Years Nutrition.  Leavesden Montessori House have achieved good practice in promoting nutrition for children in our care, meeting healthy eating guidelines. More information about the Early Year Nutrition Partnership can be found here.
